It might be nice if the admins posted something on the "old" forum to help those stuck there. I had to do a complete DNS flush of my workstations and router to get the new address and I also needed to point to another DNS provider. I'm sure at some point the "old" DNS entries will age out for folks stranded on the old forum but it would be nice for someone to let them know the situation.
