Anything I should know about an 8 year old small? Seam, hinge, etc? Found one for $250 and strongly considering it... Thanks for your help.

That old style band is kind of annoying and its $80 for a new spring assisted band. There isn't either the damper or the DMFT in the picture. Check really good for cracks especially below the bottom vent.

Yeah being an Engineer you should be good with math. I'm only married to one, but even I think that number is much too big. Think you made the right call. I would love a small egg and if the price was like $150 or so I would pull the trigger on that otherwise I'll purchase new down the road.
