Pork tenderloin with a mix of Death by Garlic and BGE Maple rub. Fresh roasted beets. Farmers market onion and jalaps stuffed with figs from Teresa, stuffed with motz cheese.
Started the fire with oak red wine soaked chips.

    Cooknbiker,

I roasted some beets tonight also. I plan on making pickled beets tomorrow.

We had to live off what was in the King Soopers bargin bin tonight though.

    1 lb wild caught salmon
    1/2 lb beef tenderloin
    4 ears of corn

    $10.63 cents.

Cooking it all on the egg....priceless

Delicious Molly! Love egg roasted beets, one of my favorites. Picked up a jar of home pickled beets in Idyllwild a couple of weeks ago, those are great too. And to think I used to hate beets. You also can't go wrong with Death by Garlic, good stuff.
