Flaws in finish of new BGE?

Just purchased our first BGE. The dome has many pits and spots where white ceramic shows through. Additonally, near the top, crazing shows through the finish. Are these considered normal or should we be concerned?

It sounds fairly normal. Pictures would help additional input though. ;)

To do that you would have to start a free account and download to it and then copy the 'img' into your post.

Crazing is normal. Pits and spots where white ceramic shows through is not.

You paid big money for that egg to be new and perfect. Take it back and exchange it.
