Great thighs and a few things from the garden

I made a light flavor brine and let them soak for 3 hours. Then a direct 350F cook until they reached 200F internal and the skin was nice and crispy. YUM YUM :P
I took these thighs out of the brine and sprinkled some of my sweet Dr. BBQ rub on them and put them directly on the grid extender on the AR and got nice crispy skin.
We have a few things coming in from the garden. Wonderful sweet onions and cucumbers soaked in cider vinegar and water. We also, have some great Bradley tomato's coming in and we picked up some peaches and cream sweet corn. :P Oh yeah some rice.

It was very good and we have plenty of leftovers. I would send you a plate USPS but they plan to go three days a week and I don't think the plate will make it out of the Lafayette office.

You've got yourself a delightful combination....excellent chicken and fresh veggies. I love this time of year. We've had drought conditions most of the spring/summer so far - but there are a couple of fruit stands where I can get locally grown peas, beans, cukes, and corn. Nothing better!
-
Nice looking meal Tim
Our local produce is starting to come in,
can't wait for some sweet corn

Thanks Hoss. With daytime temps close to 100 degrees today we will probably eat left overs tonight.
