Mini at around 250. Waffle iron fits perfect.

I tried Betty Crockers recipe. Added a tsp. more sugar and organic true Ceylon cinnamon. I'll kick that up a notch next time. Tossed in some fresh blueberries. Really impressed with one cook of shortening for the seasoning on the iron. The 2 waffles dropped out great, with the execption of a few blueberries sticking.

Wish I lived in Denver that looks great. I might have to send my son to the Eggfest just to sample some of those for me. He lives in Littleton. Where is the Eggfest held?

  • For some reason, waffles from this always seem to taste much better than the round ones.

  • Hey Tex, you know a "Doug Kuykendahl" from around Houston that shoots sporting clays (pretty good)?
    ·
  • sorry tex, the spelling might be different or maybe I can't spell.
    ·
  • My mamma told me that Kuykendall was Dutch and Kuykendahl was German, or vice versa ... I forget.

I think all of them were a bunch of thieves anyway.

There's a street in N. Houston called Kuykendahl.
