I am now about a one month old parent of a Large egg and loving it! Curious what size salt block would be recommended for my large egg. I really enjoy reading the post's about the blocks and know there are some enthusiasts on here, so any chatter is appreciated-

This is 16x8x2 on the large. It's fun to play with.

Just like Eggs -- bigger is better.

I have a 12x2 round.
It is nice on the large egg but heavy (19#) and somewhat difficult to maneuver for cleaning, etc.
I also have a 8x8x1.75 square one that I made from sawing off 4" of a 8x12x1/75 block that I bought from Sur la Table.
I use the small one a lot more than the big one.
The big can not be used with the gas burners on my indoor stove (too much reflected heat). The small one goes anywhere, is easy to use, handle, clean, etc.
But then I am only cooking for two.

My 8x8x2 works great on my small.
