Well I put this on for 30 minutes. photo-7.jpg

Only down side is you can not check the temp. It was a little dry but edible with some sauce

It was on the Naked Wiz recipe page and looked like a fun recipe when friends are over. Pork tenderloin placed on a damp cotton towel loaded with salt.placed directly on coals. Forms a salt casing. Just a littlevdry no way to check temp.

What is the point of cooking in this manor?

It wasn't the best. A little dry no way to check meat temp. It was edible.

Just trying different recipes. If it turned out great it would be fun when friends come over.

Why couldn't you just jab the beoch with a thermapen? :ermm:

Wrapped in cloth, cooked in a skillet, on a cast iron grate, in the doesn't make a bit of difference if it's cooked past it's temp. :pinch:

That's probably the most important thing I've learned here. :) that and buy like 8x as much beer as you think if a certain Canadian is gonna make it. :P

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
