Grilled some homemade Bratwurst then let it swim in ernyins,butta and DosEquis beer.

Egged some cornbread.

I forgot to take a pic of the cornbread as it was cooking.I did NOT cook it direct.I had a pizza stone on the grid and the skillet was elevated above that by 2 firebrick spacers.375 dome for 20 minutes.

I like how you used Dos Equis, I usually just dump in a Lone Star since that's what I generally have on hand :laugh:

30 minutes or so.The DosEquis was a bottle that had been in the beer fridge a couple months.I do not like it for drinking so I used it to cook with.A guest had brought it over and forgot to take it with him when he left.

Hm...I got a 12pack of Modelos that somebody left in the garage a few months ago. Maybe I'll let them die an honerable death in a pool of brats.

I would normally drink them but I found them a few weeks later.

Wow, looks good. I actually did some brats this weekend, along with some burgers. I actually thought of doing something like what you did, but just went basic with the grill, then added the "real Vidalia" after---not the fake kind grown elsewhere. Nothing like the real thing from the certified growers of the Vidalia Onion Grower's Assoc.

Brats n onions will be lunch later in the week.

No I didn't....but I wondered how you could have cornbread without beans???? I'm sure you are eating well with the garden kicked in. Lucky you!
