So we like veggies and like some variation.. Today I bought some okra with no idea how to cook it....A little olive oil and some Dizzy Pig Swamp Venom - AWESOME!!!!!
Ribeyes, Zucchini, Sweet Taters, were also really awesome.. Steak was perfect (rare side of medium rare)...

Looks like it was a great meal.

Amen on the okra - we love it this way! I prefer mine a bit more browned that my husband does - but either way it's great and we rarely have leftovers.
-
Merci! It was Awesome!

Hi Elizabeth,
I will be cooking a lot of Okra from now on!!! -
Jerry,
We stumbled on grilling okra a year or two ago and LOVED it. But for me you have to eat it within just a few minutes of coming off the grill. It loses it's impact quickly.
Great looking meal, dude!Knoxville, TN

Hi Joan,
I didn't think about it much either...I bought the okra without any clue how to cook it...Just olive oil and spices and about 6 min on the egg while the steaks were resting... -

I love okra on the grill. Try cutting it in half, lengthwise and soaking it in Italian Dressing for about 30 minutes. Lift it out of the dressing with tongs and lay it on an oiled grill pan.

Hey everything looks terrific! Steak, wow...I gotta make one for me med.rare-rare next time. Okra...had it when I was in North Carolina this spring. Batter fried and was good enough to satisfy my curiosity. Not seen around here up North fresh anyway. I think it's an old world vegetable from Africa?

Corn meal coated fried okra is super common in the South. Also used alot in some soups and stuff. I love it and grilling is a bit healthier than the normal way...As long as I can buy it I'm going to egg it!!
Thanks! Steak was warm RED center....mmmmm -
I'll try that one - Thanks!!!
