Ginny and I went on our annual camping trip to Lake Jocassee. We took the small BGE and cooked some great food. Here are a few pics:

I had the pleasure of having some of Zippy's asparagus pizza at the NewEggland fest the week before and knew I had to try it. So we cooked a few pies...

It was amazing....

We also had a Margherita pizza...

The dough was Zippy's recipe and the crust was great also...

I also cooked a quick butt on the small. It was awesome.

We also picked some local blackberries and Ginny made a blackberry cobbler...

Those are some great looking cooks there Kim. All except the spears of death pizza, how could you!!! :)

At least you put cheese over the spears, what a heart break.

Looks like you had a great time. Very pretty site.

Awesome setting and cooks, Ginny and Kim! :) I just love Lake Jocassee and Keowee, but I'm going to have to make a point of meeting up with two of you if I want to eat well while in South Carolina.

Looks beautiful Kim, and I'm not just talking about the lake ;) Want to get a small myself but just haven't had the extra funds to do it yet, but it will be mine :)

    Kim,

You need to edit your thread title. You didn't cook "stuff". In my early backpacking days in the mid-70's I ate a lot of freeze dried crap in the wilds. You've raised the bar considerably in terms of what's possible when removed from civilization.
  • Nice trip
