Those pies look great! ...also, what gasket are you using?
-
Thanks!!
The gasket is a rutland gasket w/permatex as an adhesive. The seal is perfect and have had NO problems even on a high temp pizza cook..(I've fried all my Nomex and felt gaskets on pizza). -
Beautiful looking pizzas! I just installed a rutland with permatex and am now Definitely going to make pizza this week, what temp did you do them at?
-
Thanks!!! For the dough and thickness of that pizza - 550F was the perfect temp... It was crispy in the center - just perfect this time!!
-
My husband gave me shome large stainless steel nuts yeserday, which I am planning to use for spacers when I take the pizza dive (hopefully next weekend). Yours look absolutely fantastic!
-
I don;t do fish on my pies, but man that one with them and belle peppers looks BEAUtiful!
-
Thanks Elizabeth... For the spacers: I keep a hand-full of galvanized nuts next to the egg all the time... I use them as spacers for drip pans to keep the fat from burning/smoking and also for the pizza stone.
Good luck with the ribs - I am sure they will be good! -
Thanks Brad!
I never liked anchovies until I made them on the egg. They are pretty salty but great with a glass of nice red wine and a good blend of different cheeses on the 'za!!! Surprisingly (to me) the anchovy pizza tends to be one of the most popular..
Those Bell Peppers were good!!! think that one had prosciutto as the meat..(or maybe pepperoni, I made so many). -
Jerry,
I make my java, sit down at the laptop, click on your post and I say, "Wow"...awesome pizza's. All look delici-o-so good!
I just hope the kids got some. -
Hey Clay,
Absolutely!! Everyone was stuffed!
Thanks for the comments!! -
-
Thanks - It was a blast!!

Those look very good.. did you make your own dough? you must be ready to go into the pizza business now. looks like a flavor for everyone. Great job
-
Thanks! Brings back memories of making pizza at the pizza parlor in High School...
I must admit it was dough from Trader Joes...They have really good dough and makes life a bit easier, especially with grass to cut and kids to entertain, etc.... Homemade dough is pretty awesome too, just no time this weekend. -
Lovely. I must get a new pizza stone. I finally blew mine up making clam pizza a few months ago. Truly one of the best things to make on the Egg.
-
your the second person that has used trader joes dough. I will have to stop and try some.. Thanks
