Have any Eggheads in Massachusetts visited the local Restaurant Depot? The local Wallyworld is hit or miss on Royal Oak Lump. I would like to stock up on lump for the next few months. I know that Restaurant Depot caries Royal Oak in other states. I just don't know if the Mass stores carry lump.
Any intel on Restaurant Depot would be appreciated.

I haven't been to Restaurant Depot, but I have been working in Ayer and happened to find Wicked Good Weekend Warrior at a liquor store!
if that's near enough to you I can give you the name and location. -
There are 2 Restaurant Depots in MA- Needham and Everett.

They do have the lump Royal Oak, however, the supply is not as plentiful in the winter. As for the price etc. Le Ouef Vert said $9.95 for the bag which reads 17.63 pounds. I just checked our "measly" pile of 5 extra bags... -
Ayer is a hike for me but thanks.

the best deal around is wicked good charcoal in maine buying a 30 bag minimum pallet. their pallet store is closed til later in the month though. they would have you pick it up in holyokefukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

fishless has the best recommendation.
A good many of us stock up on lump because it's hard to get in the colder months. Wicked Good is bagged and distributed in southern Maine and they always have a supply on hand.
You might want to hook up with a couple of local Eggers and buy a palette together. It's worth it believe me.
I always have 10 or 12 bags in the shed not including my 40 bag stash of Competition Blend! -
here are two places that carry R.O.
