I went to the Oxnard Harbor where they have a farmers market and fresh fish on Sunday
Seasoned with lemon, butter, and Holy Smoken Chipotle seasoning
Pre heated the Egg and salt block to 500* for 1 1/2 hrs. Put the sea bass on for 3-min. a side
Flipped @ 3-min.
It turned out wonderful you can put the holy smoken chipotle on just about anything. Served with mashed potatoes and a green salad
Thanks for looking

What is the advantage of a Salt Block? I am curious what else you have cooked on it?Proud resident of Missoula, MThttps://www.facebook.com/GrillingMontanahttp://grillingmontana.com

Sea Bass is the best, and your looks outstanding.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Your sea bass is excellent! Interesting way to cook fish using a block of rocksalt. I'm lucky that I have Richards seasonings, good stuff.
Egg looks nice and clean, you did a burnout? That's my next project, never done it before. -
Tks Mark, you have a great one too

Ross:Great looking meal form the sea, just like the salt block.
Allsid:I have done steaks, lamb and pork chops, hamburgers, scallops, shrimp and the eggsperience is always the some, more moisture retention and very little salt flavor imparted. Here are some posts from various people on the subject. A fun toy.
