Deeeelish port chops and a pepper ?

Spent yesterday afternoon running errands in 106 degree heat while the dog was getting groomed. Picked up some bone in Frenched pork chops at Trader Joes, an easy cook. Got home and put some fresh rosemary, garlic, EVOO and s & P on them and let them sit for an hour or so.
On to the egg, down close to the coals for about 2 1/2 minutes per side.
These were moist & tastey, some of the best I've made. Served with some fresh corn and sauteed baby squash and baby bellas.
Now for the pepper question. Bought an artisnal pepper plant at the Farmer's Market a couple of months ago. Think I let these sit on the plant too long. Anyone have any idea what kind they are? Chopped one up and put in a skirt steak marinade.

Teresa, looks great! No clue on the pepper. Do you do your corn on the egg? One of my very favorites...SO much better.

Normally I cook the corn in husk on the egg. But we were hungry so nuked it. But have more to cook tommorrow, on the egg!

The chop looks wonderful. A friend gave me some peppers last week that look the same as yours - she called them "Big Boy" - mine were not hot, really it tasted like a bell pepper....
