Spent yesterday afternoon running errands in 106 degree heat while the dog was getting groomed. Picked up some bone in Frenched pork chops at Trader Joes, an easy cook. Got home and put some fresh rosemary, garlic, EVOO and s & P on them and let them sit for an hour or so.

On to the egg, down close to the coals for about 2 1/2 minutes per side.

These were moist & tastey, some of the best I've made. Served with some fresh corn and sauteed baby squash and baby bellas.

Now for the pepper question. Bought an artisnal pepper plant at the Farmer's Market a couple of months ago. Think I let these sit on the plant too long. Anyone have any idea what kind they are? Chopped one up and put in a skirt steak marinade.
