This was the best I've done in an 8.8 lb bag of RO. :P

Thanks for the pic info, I'll keep trying. Would that much rock cause a problem with a slow smoke?

Rocks , Insulation , Uncharred wood , Rainbow colored charcoal..... Thats what I have found in my Royal oak bag.I'm sure this is just a byproduct of mass production. Small price to pay for such a small price to pay.

$6.37 a bag ( 10lb ) at Wal-Mart.

I usually have 3 or 4 rocks in there, not the amount you had in one bag. That seems kind of excessive.

Here's my biggest so far - couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the mini temperature up - until later when I realized that this was about the only thing in the firebox.
