My menu, which doubles as fathers' day & my birthday!
Appetizer: seared diver scallops with jalapeno cilantro infused butter sauce and grilled tiger prawn cocktail
Entree: Seared 35-day dry aged bone-in ribeye steak with a horseradish cream sauce, served with asparagus & hollandaise sauce, garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes, and grilled corn on the cob.
Dessert: not sure, my wife is supposed to be making something (hopefully the strawberry cream tart I hinted at earlier in the week!). we'll see. lol -
I am... potluck at my parents place.

Cooked overnight pulled pork last night for lunch tomorrow. Cooking prime rib and Bacon-jalepeno Mac n cheese for dinner tomorrow night. I look forward to the cooking on father's day

Yep. Second cook ever on the Egg (early Father's Day gift last weekend). I'll be cooking Jerk Chicken and some ABTs to start.

Absolutely! And it will be all for me, of course I will share if the family wants some. Heading to the store in the morning as well.
I am thinking wings and ribs. That should keep me busy, after I go on a nice long hike early in the a.m.

I've been planning for several days now for today. We are having Surf and Turf:
Scallops and Ribeye
Tossed salad
Mashed potatoes
I'm going to wrap a few scallops each in bacon, turkey bacon and prosciutto and see what the family likes best. -
I am interested in hearing about the Jalapeño Cilantro infused butter sauce is prepared. I did a very nice Spicy Grilled Jalapeño and Lime marinade last night. It was excellent.

Have to work today, but coming home to cook up another ABT and stuffed mushroom pizza. Been craving this all week :woohoo:

I have marinated boneless Country Style rib meat going in the Smoker Egg, baked taters in the Mini Egg. The beer is in the frig and I have plenty of ice for makin Gin Martini's. DianaQ has promised me an apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. -
If my Applewood smoked bacon wrapped scallops turn out as nice yours on your web site, I know what everyone will get in the future.

2.5 lb eye round, potatoes in olive oil and salt!! This fathers day, (first with the EGG) cooking is a pleasure not a chore!!

Heading for Zum Brauhaus for some great German fair today. Most of the family is to rendezvous including soon to be Great, Great Grandpa!!!! Grandma too.
Cooked yesterday....
Did a chicken, in my vertical CI roaster, surrounded with carrots, celery, peppers and mushrooms along with fresh corn on the cob on the grid.
One floor down was the appetizer. Did a Cajun Shrimp done up with onion and lemon slices. -
