Hi,
Does anybody know how to get a raised set up when you only have a single grill?
I am looking for a short term set up (for tonight) until I get something proper.
Thanks!
Jimi

I use 1/2 width fire bricks. They fit nicely on top of the fire ring and raise grid to same level as the top of the egg.

You can use 3, 4 inch bolts and washers. Works great

In a real pinch you can use aluminum cans

Agree with Capt Frank. Aluminum cans work well in a pinch.

It seems more stable if you shim between the firebox and ring, rather than ring and grid. Just my 2cents.
