Hey Yall,
Thought I would show yall some pictures of the pizza night we had on the DMBGE. Turn out was pretty good. Fed alot of Soldiers with some sauceless tortilla crust pizza. Our supplies / ingredients included: shredded cheddar, sliced provolone, olives, bell peppers, onions, jalapenos, pepperoni, 10"tortillas, flour, and olive oil. Had to cut the tortillas to fit the egg.
Soldiers trying to split the first pizza. Look pretty hungry.
Saw on the site and internet to put olive oil on the tortilla and cook it for a minute or two to get it crispy. Then added cheddar cheese, already sliced pepperoni (thanks Mom for sending those), and provolone slices to the top. Came out really good.
This Soldier is having the vegetarian pizza. Cheddar on bottom, jalapenos, onion, olive, bell pepper, and more cheddar. He must of liked it, ate the whole thing in under 5 minutes flat. :woohoo:
Another happy customer
This is the DFAC manager. I would like to thank her for supporting us by hooking us up with whatever food and supplies she can. Even though supplies are limited she does what she can to help.
This is what its all about; relaxation and socializing with some good food in your belly.
I think he's ready for another pizza....
One of our Senior Leaders (No that doesn't mean she is old :P ) stopping by to see how things are going.
ITS SOOOOO GOOD!

So nice to see folks being able to relax a bit & enjoy a bit of "normalcy" - even if only for a short time.
How fast did those tortilla crust pizza's cook up ? I bet you / the mini could crank them out pretty quickly. -
Chris keep them cards and letters coming (and photos) :laugh:Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Chris,
Great pics - thanks for posting them.
Let your colleagues know how much be appreciate yours and their service for our country! -
The tortillas crispened up pretty quickly(1-2 min) at 400-500 degrees.
My sytem was to crisp a tortilla and when it was read pull it out and put on another. By the time it was finished crispening (if thats a word... ) I already had the toppings on the other ready to go in. I was pumping them out pretty regularly. Only issue I had was I didn't put enough charcoal in the first time and my temp started dropping quickly. After reloading the charcoal it was a pizza making machine!!! -
GREAT JOB!!!
