On sale here. Does it need to be marinaded for long?

    The last one I did was marnated for about 30 hours...not that you would need to marinade it that long. It's because we had something come up and couldn't cook it when we planned.
    We Trex-ed it, with the cooking time on the second stage being longer... about 8 minutes per side. That depends on the thickness of the meat. Ours was about 2.5 to 3". Slice it thin and on an angle.
    The family agreed that it was the best they've ever tasted.
    Can't remember the marinade exactly... a little of this and that.

    Red wine... merlot I think. Not much of a wine drinker.
    Teriyaki
    Zesty italian dressing
    Can of Rotel tomatoes
    Fresh garlic
    Canadian steak seasoning.
    Dusted with Dizzy Pig cowlick about an hour before cooking.[p]Something like that. [p]Enjoy.
