Royal Oak Lump at Wallmart...

Hello Gang,
Not sure if this is news worthy or not but, 10lb bags of Royal Oak are $6.32 at Wall-mart. It's the good American red bag Royal Oak.
I'm out in California, so maybe that's expensive for you midland states, not sure how pricing goes state to stage.
I picked up two bags yesterday and am thinking about heading out today to get a few more.

They are $6.37 here in Lancaster, PA, as their regular price. I have never seen them go on sale.Large BGE

Check out Kroger. I have purchased some of their lump wood and I think it burns better than Royal Oak. Plus when they have it on-sale, its only $3.95 a bag! Other wise, its around $5.00.

No Piggly Wiggly. No Jitney Jingle. No Kroger's.
California is seriously lacking on creative names.

Exactly the situation here in Panama City, FL. Super Walmart buys a couple pallets for the season; when they're gone, they gone... During the availability season, when I open one new bag, I go down to the store and buy two, my way of stocking up. They usually have stock thru Labor Day.

Our local Tractor Supply (TSC) stocks it now for $5.95. Menards had it on sale last month for $3.99 for an 8.8 lb. bag. Got 20 bags, ought to last a couple of months!

Huh, we have a tractor supply in Gilroy! It's actually across the street from Wallmart!. I'll head over there and see what they have.

I've been to that Walmart in Gilroy on a California culinary road trip. Same price here in S. Cal. and they carry it all year.
