Maple, Pecan, Apple(suggestions needed)

Alright. Doing some yankee butts tonight but I'm out of hickory, which has been my staple for pulled pork until today. Now I have a choice to make.
My choices are Maple, Pecan, Apple(all chunks), or a mix of those in some fashion.
Any suggestions?

Pecan has a mild "woody" taste and the Apple can impart a "sweet" flavor... both are mild, so don't worry about using too muchKent Madison MS

What every good Yankee would use . . . maple! If you have it, Rock Maple/Sugar Maple in particular.
I like all three and could easily mix them all. I have been getting low on smoke woods and have been mixing what ever came to hand first and have been very happy every time. I guess maple would be first pick of a single wood.
