Do You Have A Butt On The BGE Now?

I just put on a 12.94LB butt on the small at 245* about half an hour ago shooting for it to be done around noon Sunday. I rubbed it last night with D.P. coarse Dizzy Dust. Was curious how many other fellow BGE'ers are cooking a "Butt" for our wonderful Memorial Day in memory of all that have fought for our country?

Don't have one on at the moment. I did a whole chicken this evening, cedar plank salmon and some veggies. Was thinking about firing it back up tomorrow to try my first brisket! Happy Memorial Day.

Four split chickens tonight and four racks of ribs tomorrow. Pulled pork was next on my list, if i didn't do the ribs. I like the idea of leaving off the grate.

I have two going on at 1 AM EST. Which should time out perfectly for 6 PM service tomorrow! As this is my first Butt I plan on taking pictures and sharing!

Burgers on the mini tonight and prepping a 15lb brisket with injection from Myron's new book to go on tomorrow night. Also went to Cabela's and got a 36 count jalapeño holder that will be rocking for Monday as well.

2 8-lb butts on last night @ midnight on Medium.
3 racks of baby backs about to go on now.
28 people due to help eat it all @ 6pm.

I have two 8.5 lbs in cooler waiting to be pulled. Went on at 11:00 am Saturday and off at 6:30 am this morning.
I cooked at 210 until about 4:00 am when I bumped it up to 275.__________ Chris -
Two 9 lb picnics on my LBGE. Put them on at 10pm last night. Shooting for 2pm to be done. Had a couple issues with the Wegmans lump and the fire went out. First time ever for me. I think I am only going to use BGE lump or Wicked Good for the long cooks. Seems to be much more stable.

A photo of my 13Lb'er right before I took it off 15 hours later. Still had half my lump left and a fall apart pork butt that we enjoyed for Memorial Day along with 10LB's of baby backs I slow cooked on the Weber Smokey Mountain.
