Seared Ahi tuna for dinner

Used the Spider, legs down, and cast iron grate at 650. Two minutes per side - dusted with Tony Chachere's:

    Don't feel bad HornHonk I took a jab at the 420 earlier, now I feel like a real arse.

    Great lookin Tuna TBK, I was just getting ready to search for a good tuna cook. Going to be my first fish on the BGE.

    It was wonderful. BTW - I haven't cooked in the oven since I got my Egg a few weeks ago! :laugh:

    You can find Tony Chachere's at the grocery store. love the stuff.

    I did ahi tuna tonight too! Wife seasoned, I cooked. She did the seasoning plus grated lemon rind. Mine was only on for maybe 90 sec. Each side. Hers stayed on twice as long.

    Love tuna! Blackened rare is nice too.
