When should I wrap butt in foil??

'Mornin.
I really don't want to do this, but Immonna have to wrap that 6 pound butt in foil. It is still in the mid 160s plateau area, but needs to be done in about 90 minutes from now.[p]If I wait 30 more minutes, and wrap in foil for the last hour, does that sound right??[p]Thanks much

    I'm sure you've already got yours wrapped..Just wanted to say last weekend I had one totally stall at 174 degrees. I wrapped in in foil, a couple of towels, then put in an ice chest for 45 minutes. Came out wonderful, juicy, and pulled easily.[p]TR

    Amazing how flexible those butts are![p]Well, it came out great. Pulled off at 190, and got to the school by noon. There was a HUGE spread of food on the table already. The folks who tried it came back for seconds, but many had already eaten. Took me a while to pull it all with forks. Gotta git me some of dem firemans glove like MikeO uses to pull his pork. [p]Some teachers gonna have some leftovers!! [p]My 4 pounder sits at 157 now. Can probably just let him go til dinner.[p]Cheers
