Ohhhhhh!!! I know the real chubby and most people wouldn't want to be associated with him... "mr Chubby" is too close a name for the real Chubby. He said you are going to have to get on the scale.

Actually I am on the phone with Chubby right now and he say B.S. (with sort of a smile on his face).

We have Cowboy Lump, Royal Oak Lump and mesquite (Mexico product out this way.

Cowboy lump imparts very little smoke flavor in the meats, Royal Oak has a bit more and mesquite had quite a bit more.

Fish and poultry will take on more smoke flavor, beef and pork will have less.

Not trying to be the "Forum Police" here...but it's generally long accepted decorum that we all try to have unique "handles"
that are different enough from each other so as not to cause missunderstandings as to who's posting what!

I've been posting here as "Chubby" for many years.

Now...some will say you're nuts to willingly allow such a close association to the likes of me.., but,
that said...maybe there's another "handle" that would differentiate you're posts from mine a bit more than the present one?

Thanks in advance, and welcome aboard!!

Would be nice if the admin would look at the new members handle and aprove the name before it goes live.
I don't think I searched the list before I made up my name. Just got lucky.
Hope your well and we missed you in Athens.

With all due respect to Chubby (one of the good ones here) and the other opinions, I think that this is much adieu about nothing. Just out of curiosity I went to the list of members and there are too many examples to count that are closer than Mr Chubby and Chubby.

I went to look at my handle and could not believe the variations on Bob.

Bob, BOB, BoB, bob, BobB, BobC, BobG, BobH, BobK, BobL, and BobS1 are but a few of the examples.

I agree for the most part by why have the confusion for no need.
Your handle is more than a prime example.

Chubby and I are friends and we are just joking with each other.

i submit then, blatantly, that anyone who is confused is operating at a significantly lower capacity than simple operation of the forum requires in the first place.

grandpas grubs reply was way more confusing than this guy's handle.

i guess i was one of the very very very few who knew it wasn't Chubby
