Food Saver Question

I think this is the greatest forum there is for dummies like me.[p]I have been asked to go as a guest to a friends house and do the cooking on his gas grill. The fare will be KC Strips.[p]I would much prefer to do them on my BGE for OBVIOUS reasons.[p]The problem is, if I do them at my house and transport them afterwards, they will be cold and that is not desirable either.[p]I am wondering (if I had a food saver), could I put them in bags and when I get to his house, simply drop the bags in boiling water and expect the same flavor as they would have been if devoured immediately after taking them off the BGE??[p]Any help will be appreciated.
