Beating the dead DigiQ fan horse dilemma

I went through a lot of old posts and saw recommendations for one fan over another, but here's my scenario:
I went ahead and bought a DigiQ for my LBGE and it's sitting on my front porch! Problem...I think I bought the wrong fan. I bought the 4 cfm, not the 10 cfm.
Should I consider sending the 4 back and get a 10?

what size EGG?
-
Sorry - that would help - Large. I'll edit my OP

I just got one as well and got the 10cfm fan. I used it last night and it worked great.

The 4cfm should be plenty. I use a 5cfm fan with my Stoker, and it has no trouble getting my Large to 350º.

I've used a 4 cfm on an XL and it works fine...you wont have any trouble using it..

I wouldn't worry about it. I would think the 4cfm will work just fine. I have the Viper (10cfm) and have to set the slider down to about 1/4 open and it works great in the wildest, coldest weather.
Therefore, 10 cfm ÷ 4 = 2.5 cfm. 4cmf would be fine for my use. Also, I am cooking at 5,000' elevation and sometimes 9,000' elevation where I need more air than folks closer to sea level.
Now with that said if you are the kind of person who is going to continually fret about the smaller blower than to ease your mind, exchange the blower.

The 4 CFM blower will do just fine. I prefer the 10, but you don't need to worry about it. Good luck with your cooking! The Naked Whiz

I know, I know - the 4 would have been fine. My thing was that most people on here have the 10, and therefore, I would be able to get more help.
And yes, it would bother me to only have the 4 ;-) -
Stacie I have the 10 cfm also, I know I don't need that much but I'm the type that would shove a V8 into a gocart just because I can :woohoo:
