Recently was at the Tampa Hard Rock Casino and they had a great plate of stuffed portobellos with grilled chicken, saffron jasmine rice and a chipotle sauce to die for.
After recently hearing ads for Burger King Chipotle whatever and Subways's Southwestern Chipotle, I took up the challenge and very happy with the results. Hope some of you like it.

I use different rubs depending on mood, but love this nice sauce I did recently.

Sauce, BBQ, White, Holy Smokin' Chipotle, Southwestern, Richard Fl.

These portions will make about 2 1/2 plastic ketchup size squeeze bottles. Keeps well in frig.

    INGREDIENTS:
    24 Ozs Dukes Mayonnaise
7 Ozs Chipotle in Adobo Sauce
    7 Ozs Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Whole Hatch Green Chiles, Roasted
    4 Ozs Favorite BBQ Sauce
2 Tsps Holy Smokin' Chipotle Seasoning, or any chili seasoning.

    PROCEDURE:
1 Place in a bowl and puree with a stick blender. Place in a -plastic squeeze bottle to use. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Don't tell the people who buy for Publix. I used to get it in SC, but it has been down here for a year or more.
A 4 oz can of El Paso or comparable green chilies will work.

Bente, On one of my visits to Charleston, sc. I picked up Willies Hog Dust. I have used it on chicken and pork with very good results. It is made in Sumter,SC. Go to willieshogdust.com if you can not find it in Anderson. I have recently used it on a pork butt. I thought it was excellent.

thanks i looked it up it pointed me HERE i used to go to a place in sumter that had some outstanding ribs but that was pre egg. so my tastes have changed. i was using the john henry's hot wing rub on wings it was a realy good rub just to put on the wings and cook. the georgia red wings and lemon pepper wings work really good but when i want to put in as little effort as possible and still get some good wings i used to use the john henry. maybe someone will take mercy on me and tell me where to order it

i will look to see if i see willies on the shelves may be worth a try....

    thanks again
