Iberico loin with asparagus

Hello to all,

got the chance to get a 2 pound Iberico pork loin. Cut in 3 steaks.

Here no 1:

EVOO, salt and pepper:

gave it a sear on the large (small CI rost on spider):

Placed a CI pan on the CI grid and cooked the asparagus, the steak came on top of the rig

    That looks great! Can you fill me in on Iberico? And whats that along side of the asparagus? The plated pic is lookin' excellent!

    Simon, you are making my mouth water. :)

    I've never had Iberico pork loin, but I really enjoy tapas with Jamón ibérico and Manchego cheese. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
