Awesome chicken wings in Boca...

We went back to a restaurant in Boca Raton called Mississippi Sweets. They have awesome chicken wings that I would like to duplicate on the egg. They are definitely smoked but also crispy on the outside. Pretty sure they don't fry them.
Has anyone been to this restaurant and/or have suggestions on how to achieve this result?

Yes they do slow smoke them and then right before serving they drop then in peanut oil fryer for a couple minutes for the crisp. GREAT wings and easy to duplicate.
