We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Another butt question....

Do you brine a boston butt before cooking? Seems like a lot of trouble, just wondering if its worth it. A friend, who is well known for his cooking says he has never used brine and wouldn't go to all the trouble.

I've got the time if it makes a big difference. Would like your opinion.
