Just wanted to say hello to all. I'm a newbie to the Egghead world, just got my Egg last week and already had some great successes and slight failures. Going to smoke my first Butt this weekend. Not asking for advise as I have already got some great advise and tips just by reading several other posts in this forum. Hopefully I can share some pics of a nice pork butt this Sunday. (Food Porn) Looking forward to spending a great deal of time here and am so happy to find this place!

Congrats on your new purchase. Any of your slight mishaps probably would have been disasters on any device other then the egg. Welcome, and look forward to your pics.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. Thought I would post my first success on the Egg. Injected with Creole Butter and roasted at 350 for about 1 hour 45 minutes. Turned out moist and delicious.
