I see eggfests all over the country. But, nothing in se mich. :(
Am I missing something or is there not that big of a presence here?

    Be pro-active. Go talk to your dealer and start organizing! I talked my dealer into having one and this year makes the third annual Pittsburgh Eggfest. If that's not in the cards, just be patient, just a few years ago there were only ten or so nationally. Now there are 30 or more and the list grows every year.

    I'm in West Michigan. No eggfests here either!

    Can't even find good Lump other than BGE at the dealer.

    Where in Western MI? I'm in SE MI and Gordon's Food Service (GFS Marketplace has lump charcoal for $12.99 (20# bag of Royal Oak, rebranded with GFS logo). I usually buy all they've got when I stop in. It's the same as BGE for about half the price.

    Did a quick search and there's one in Grand Rapids.

    i am also from SE michigan, and I travel the State, I always ask the dealers about an Eggfest. I dont think any of them see any payback from hosting one.

    Most of them are feeling lucky to be even open after 2009 and 2010 business climate in Michigan.
