Sorry but she laid an egg. Outta there because she put pineapple on her short rib skewer. My homeboy Brad Orrison won both rounds though. His original BBque and Blues joint is about a 5 minute drive from my house. BTW if you think he was just hamming it up for the show, Nope! He's that way all the time.

    CSI:Miami - season finale ! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Best in Smoke replayed last night, around midnight, I think. The DVR picked it up then and I can watch whenever. ;)

Yes you did and she lost.

I was actually a little disappointed with the show, especially the lady Egger (boiling ribs?). Hopefully next week it will redeem itself.

As "Famous Dave" found out, having the contestants foot-race to get the best cuts of meat from a truck would, if adopted, turn the BBQ Competition circuit on its head!

I felt bad for ole' Famous Dave, on that second challenge he was about 30 seconds behind everyone else.

REAL disappointing. i love the show, but can't figure out why any serious bbq person would boil ribs....

I figure that she thought she didn't have enough time to get them tender by just smoking them.

she should have had a plan C or picked a different protein.

I enjoyed the show. Liked the characters. Liked the pit masters talking about what they were doing, what they used in rubs, etc. I have the series DVR'd and will hopefully pick up some tips.
