it's 8:30am and i'm an hour or so into smoking my pork butt. is it unusual to want a beer already? i'm inclined to think it's just pavlovian but i'm not sure.

Hey, as long as there is someone else around to go get more beer if/when you run out, might as well crack one open.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

I've been smoking a butt all night and mine is just about to come of the egg. I have the same craving as you do and it is only 9:15 in the morning. Hopefully I could hold off until lunch time.

it's the inclement weather chimney covering apparatus® i rigged up. took a hose clamp and cut some metal rods and fully assembled looks like this:

it is done ... 5lbs, 10 1/2 hours ... 198º internal temp ... brought a tear to my eye when i opened the egg. going to be hard letting it rest.
