Not a smartphone app, but appetizers. Went to great friends home yesterday for their annual Easter get together. A really great group of people. The hosts requested ABT's and I also made Maineggs Roasted Grape Tomatoes. He always does ribs, on charcoal but not on an Egg

No need to say that the ABTs disappeared quickly.

The roasted tomatoes were another big hit! I think I let them cook a little too long, but I was the only one that thought so.
IMAG0393.jpg

Saturday I brined a whole turkey breast. In the cooler with World Market turkey brine for 8 hours.
IMAG0384.jpg

Fingerling potatoes that needed to be used. Sliced up and into a small cast iron pan w/evoo, butter and cheese sprinkled with Death by Garlic.
IMAG0385.jpg

Droid picture not that great, but it was nicely browned and off the egg in about 2 hours at 375-400. It was very windy that day and had a hard time getting the temp lower.

Plated. Can't wait for a turkey sandwich for lunch.

Thanks for looking. Hope everyone had a great day yesterday!

Teresa, nice Easter turkey! :) Looks as if I'll have to try your potatoes. Anything with Death by Garlic as an ingredient sounds wonderful to me.

Faith, just got it. My old one rusted out, left it out in the elements one night, major no, no. Love the pink!

I just winged the potatoes with what I had. Put a little evoo in the bottom of the pan, layered sliced fingerlings with a little s & p and butter, topped with cheese and Death by Garlic. Put on the egg after the turkey came off, at about 350, for 30 minutes or so. They came out creamy, cheesey & crunchy, my favorite 3 c's.

Thanks Rebecca. Still planning on copying your dinner this weekend. Steak, Italian potatoes and asparagus.
