$6.33/10# USA, here last night. I guess I had better go pick up a stash to beat the rush.
I would think most everything is going to jump with the cost of fuel and the condition of the dollar. I don't expect things to be a lot of fun in the somewhat near future.

Yesterday I went to a local farmer's co-op where I usually buy 40lbs of Fire King for $17. They have been bought out by Royal Oak and it's now $24 for the same bag. I called my suppliers like SYSCO and US Foodservice and they all show large price increases.

the hardware store in Fl and then here at home this week had cowboy 20 lb bags for 10.00. we stocked up down there and then again here when we got home LOL

Guess we blame it on higher freight costs??
Just paid $24.95 for a 20# bag in Orlando this week, got 2 bags. Only reason I paid that much is I had a gift card from the holidays for $50 so my cost was very low.
For those of you in the Orlando area it is a nice store with many different, woods, chunk and chips and BBQ rubs and sauces.

I agree Richard that is a great store and their prices aren't bad either. I spent time there my last trip to Orlando and talked to the manager and some of the sales staff and they were very friendly. Would be my go to store if I were there. I also checked out the super walmart near there on Colonial and they had pretty good prices on RO and choice packer briskets.

Every time I here this kind of thing I buy ten more bags.
Still $6.33 here -
Kari I just bought 10 bags this morning for $6.37 each. -RP

Two weeks ago I made the trek up to Atlanta and visited the Restaurant Depot up there. They carry 17.8lb bags of RO for $7.99. My wife has a business license which allowed us to sign up for membership. Membership is free. I used some this past week and it's been great, no difference at all from the RO I've been buying at Wally World.

When I checked out they charged me the old price!!
Went back later and got 4 more -- obviously weathered bags :S
Will see if the "new" high price holds, but the Manager just shrugged when I asked on the first trip  -
