Our 10 year old daughter prepped her first meal to cook on the egg. We got the idea from the Sunshine fest.

What did you make ?
Thanks.

Was great spending some quality time with you and Le Oeuf Vert on the warm and sunny beach. We should hook up the next time I visit New England.

We don't know the official name
but it was wonton wrappers, with bacon bits, eggs and shredded cheese on top. The family that made these at the Sunshine Fest used sausage. -
We were glad to run into you and your wife on the beach. We hope everything was ok at home after the storm. Eenie's table looks beautiful! We can't wait to see the website you spoke to us about. It looks like the king of the smoke ring can cook a mean porterhouse

Diane, nothing like cooking with the kids!
I've gotten so many good ideas from the fests.
Those are the breakfast egg cups made by Avocado's daughter, Helen. They were yummy. -
Great first pic post. Cooking with your family is a wonderful thing. Happy egging and keep coming back!

Another young Egger. Looks like brother is enjoying himself. CongratsLarge, small and mini now Egging in Rowlett Tx

Thanks for the information! We were waiting for the cookbook to come out to find out the name of the person that made them and what they were called.
-
We have been searching for information about that fest. We are all planning on visiting the NH fest.

Website was put up in a rush, just a basic layout for now but Diana will work on adding pictures and recipes, ect. House ok, chimney cap blew off and some torn shingles. Three of our blue spruces went down. Other homes and business not as lucky with roofs torn off or worse. Our trees are replaceable with flowers this year. I always wanted a Bradford pear tree, will look into that this fall.

Bradford pears aren't much for strength in storms - always breaking and blowing down. They're just engineered for fast growth and they don't have a lot of structural integrity.
But they are a good looking tree. -
Kinda looks like the Christmas tree from "Christmas Vacation". All kidding aside good to hear there was no major damage.
-
Does she have her own egg?
-
fidel is right. i went to an ag school at which my mother worked and we got one when they first came out,, were supposed to be the perfect tree .. not! they did no live up to the hype.. if you are looking for a long lived sturdy tree i suggest you look elsewhere. ours was nice when it was a few years old but it did not mature gracefully [unlike us] so i put it out of its misery.
one second thought plant one and use the wood to make anouther of your beautiful creations .
i am glad the damage was not catastrophic

not yet
My husband just got his last July...
The rest of us are still "tasters" -
Diane:
Tell that little sweetie she can be a professional chef when she grows up! She did a beautiful job on those cups, and they do look delicious.
It was so nice to spend time with you last Sunday...I hope our paths will cross again.Judy in San Diego -
Judy it was a pleasure and thank you again for letting us tag along with the prawn adventure. We are glad you enjoyed your Pearl hotdogs!
