I am in charge of the ribs for a comp that's coming up in 2 weeks so it's been ribs every week for months it seems!
Also picked up a new Glock 22 (gen 4) last week.
Here's another pic next to a co-worker's Sig Sauer P226

We are rooting for you.

Gene, Your a great cook, but you might want to pass on this comp. It would seem your competition is SERIOUS about winning. :(
-
Wow, I thought I was going to see some new rib rack, nit a glock. I take it I should just say the food taste great no matter what you cook me when I come over to your place.
Ribs look good by the way. What method did you use? -
He's like George Jefferson....he's movin' on up!
Graham is a pro and left us rookies in his dust. :-) -
Nice looking ribs, good luck, maybe having the glock on your hip will "encourage" the judges.Take care, Randy
-
Can't wait to see you out there!
-
Yup I try to keep the compliments coming...
-
Haha! Yeah we got stuck in pro b/c there were no amateur spots left!
-
It was the first non-egg purchase in years
As for the ribs, I used the heavy p method. -
Very nice looking ribs.............hard to tell from the photo, are they baby backs? This fall I "egged" St. Louis style spare ribs for the first time. I'm hooked on them now!

Dang I hear that guy can cook...but all he can do is cornbread!

Nice toy. I'm wrapping my greasy hands around a Taurus Judge this weekend. Getting it for a song. It's a five shot revolver that shoots a .410 shot shell or a .45 long colt. One bad motor scooter.

Do you cook that direct or indirect ?
-
I have a couple friends with the judge. That's a mean pistol bro.
-
it's really not that bad - not much worse than a .38 special. Short barrel saves you from recoil.
I'm getting it to use as a snake gun. Nothing worse than walking back to a fishing hole or a deer stand and crossing paths with a snake in a bad mood. -

Point and click! :woohoo:
-
I've had my sights on that little bugger for some time now.

Wow Graham, the ribs look awesome.....but I'm a bit curious if you have any plans for the Glock in the event you don't place in ribs?

Nice pistol. I'm looking for a decent price on a 1911 TRP, but in California they are all outrageously over priced. I may have to settle for a standard 1911. :( -
I have a GLOCK 20. I love it. Enjoy the pistol. Good luck with the rib comp too.
Just don't use the GLOCK to win the comp alright. LOL. -
I like your ribs, but your friend has better taste in guns! Here's my pair of Sigs
-
Y'all quit trying to one up each other or I'm not coming to the contest out of fear of being an innocent bystander
-
I'm not sure about the bystander part, but I don't think I could put Crimsongator and innocent into the same sentence!
