Bachin it for a couple more days, so it musta been lonely in the hot tub. :(
Guilty!
a 1.7# ribeye that was prematurely pulled from dryaging on the 23rd day.
Sentenced to some water torture. (130º sink water and 100º pot water) for an hour
Hit him with some Hawaiian Sea salt (8" chef knife)
The squash had been cooking at 400º for an hour or so and the fire looked just right, so I went with it.
No idea on time but when it hit 123º it went to a 10+ minute rest under a foil tent.
Too quiet inside so I ate in the workshop with the girls watching the Masters talk on the golf channel. (Phil is my bet) Blue cheese on top and some truffles salts for a dipping
I had a nice piece left for breakfast and a small one for Jav and Latte.
Now hold on while I fumble futz with this camera. :P
OKAY!

Nice looking meal!
I'm most impressed that your dogs actually "sat" for the photo(s). I would have lost a finger putting the bowls on the floor.
My dogs typically don't get egged food - but they are always have a heightened awareness when our food comes from outside. -
I'm looking for someone to come out of the back of the pack at the masters
Oh and nice steak :P -

man after my own heart. love bleu cheese when we have guests that ask for tenderloin. blacken it a bit and toss some on. adds the flavor that tenderloin is missing.
your ribeyes look great. i always love how they don't fall apart and get floppy when they've been aged.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
