I have never ever cooked beef ribs and have them come out any other way than a greesy mess.
I decided to give them a go on the egg...my wonderful wonderful egg.
They were EGGCELLENT!
I bout some regular and short ribs to give them both a try. I used the BBQ rub from BGE cookbook and slow cooked indirect for 3 hours at 250
Removed plate setter, bumped heat to 450 and basted with Mayday BBQ sauce. Its made local and DAMN it taste good!!!
It all came out perfect.
Served with Squasha and home made potato salad

Nice cook! I've done beef ribs a couple of times and they are amazing. I usually have my butcher at Publix cut them special for me. :P

Yes, they are Fiddleheads from last spring. I don't think you will find them in Texas. We have a nice patch right off our back yard, they have not broken ground yet this year.

Dang they look good. I haven't tried beef ribs yet. They never look like they have much meat on them and I just dont' know how they taste so I haven't tried. Maybe I need to step up. Love some steak so how could they be bad right?
Nice job. -
IMHO, short ribs are the way to go...little bits of beefy heaven that have a bone handle
