Remote thermometer on sellout Woot
They have a Maverick ET901.
Looks like this thermometer will give the current temp of the food but not the dome/cooking temp. Am I missing something? That's a great price but would really like to know both the food temp and the cooking temp. Otherwise I still have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to check on a low and slow.
Had the same model from an earlier woot. Broke after about 2 years of minimal use (less than 10 times).
These are a single probe thermometer, hence only 1 reading. I use mine for food, dome or pit as I need.
If you are wanting a dual read then pick up a different model.
Bought a couple at retail one for myself and others as a gift. They seem to work great.
