I came in the possession of this at a Texas Eggfest. I think it was in a gift bag or was a door prize. I don't have a clue as to what it is.

It's about 2" round and supposedly has something to do with Big Green Eggs.

I won't lose sleep over it but it would be nice to know what the heck it is.

That,my friend,is the official BGE "dream catcher".You are supposed to hang it over your egg/eggs to keep away the evil(meat burning)spirits  Uh,OK,I have no idea, but I would still hang it over the eggs(just in case) :P

I saw this at BBQ Outfitters and asked them the same question. Turns it is a fire starter holder. It is basically for those people that don't know how to build a fire.
It might make a handy paperweight on a windy day.

Hoss, I always thought when you can't get the screw cap off it was time to call it quits.

    Austin Egghead was right.
Fire starter holder. Designed to keep air space around cube or stick to help it burn when lump is put on or over the cage.
They claim it works very well but mapp gas is normally my choice.
If we put mine and yours together we might be able to make up some kind or board toss game.

Can are very versatile. They also make fine risers.

I'm not sure it's "ANYTHING" to tell the truth. I suppose you could open a bottle with it but why?

I'm thinking it's for something else.

As for holding fire starters, maybe, but what kind of fire starter? I typically use the Weber cubes when I use them instead of my Mapp torch. I often use three in my Large to even out the fire but I only have one of these gadgets.

I'm thinking it's a charm for a really big bracelet. Or something left over from an ET visit.

But what do I know? I just have one.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
