Beef Short Ribs on the BGE?

On of my favorite dishes cooked down in a pot with veggies in a stew like dish. But, I'm wondering if the beef short ribs could be slow cooked on the BGE and eaten like pork ribs..........
Anybody ever try it? Input? Looking for more stuff to put on my BGE bucket list!!

Yes, they are teriffic. Something I just learned with the lamb shanks, if you run a boning knife up and under the meat and membrane along the bone you will get much better pullback. Usually about six or seven hours at 250* for beef ribs.

Boys!! All good ideas. I love beef short ribs about as much as anything else.........the idea came to me at about 3:00AM...........now, I'm gonna giv'em a lo and slo run on the egg. I'll bet'ya they come out stronger than a garlic milk shake. Thanks.

Well, could'a said it would'a brought a tear to a glass eye, but you never know who might be out'a windex.

Here is a cave man style beef rib. About 7 hrs @275. They can be quite fatty if you don't cook them long enough.
