Bobby-Q: Very sorry to hear that you are no longer at the BGE. You have been such an asset and promoter, I firmly believe you are one of the reasons Big Green Egg is where it is in the cooking world! I am confident you will find success in your new venture. You have our numbers, so please don't hesitate to contact me should you need anything. Don't be a stranger! Our absolute best to you.

Let me know if I can help.

  • HI Bobby,

Wish you the best in the new endeavor!
  • I've never had the chance to meet you but have considered you a great asset to the company and always enjoyed your posts. While I do wish you the very best (and it looks like you will prevail) I do see this as a negative trend for BGE considering the issues I've seen come up as the eggfest season begins.

    Good luck, chef!!

    what stike said.

we've never met.. but all the best to you.. sounds like you've got the admiration of a whole wack of folks.

venturing out onto your own is nerve rackingly exciting...

I will admit I was scared poopless ;-) when I left a full-time job to work for myself.

Best of luck to you, Bobby, in this new endeavor.

Are you still going to compete?

How about offering comp cooking classes ( on the Egg)?
  • Well they come in threes, don't they? First the news about Jim, then Nancy, now this.

Bobby, it was such fun having you at Oswegofest the past two years. If you're ever out Chicago way, shoot me an email. Best of luck in your new opportunities.

I wish you the best of luck Bobby.I know that we've met and even hung out at a comp, but I'll never forget meeting the first time. You actually loaded my new small egg in my truck at the old Clairmont store.Ed actually sold me the egg(and threw in a hat). But you made sure that I got my "free" bag of lump. My,,,,,how things have changed :( I'm sure that you''l do well in your new endeavor :)
  • Bobby,
You know that I love you (I hope). I wish you the very, very best. I'll definitely see you the next time I'm down that way - hopefully for a class! I'm a firm believer in the old saying "everything happens for a reason" and am sure that this change will be really great for you.

The site looks great. Good luck with your new adventure and hopefully this is just a new form of partnership with BGE.

    Hey Wess,

Thanks for the kind words. I know you have always been a great friend and big fan of the EGG® and I hope that neither of those change.

    Thanks Bill,

We definitely need to get in touch with each other.

Thanks for the well wishes, I look forward to meeting you one day in the hopefully not far future.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

I appreciate your thoughts. For me it always comes back to the fact that it is not hard to sell EGGs® since it is such a great product. A lot of my good friends are still there and are valuable assets to BGE.

Thanks for the compliments on the site. I agree completely about the door and rushing through it. There are a few kinks evolving but I always have another option if things get too complicated.

    Hiya Susan,

Thanks for the well wishes and I agree about the doors.

Not sure what direction BGE is heading as far as advertising. There is a show on one of the satellite radio stations that Rob Damico (sp) does. He is a friend of Ardy Arani and they used to do the show together. It is a NASCAR® based show. When Ardy was hired we got Rob an EGG® and he has been an EGGhead ever since and sings high praises on his show. Maybe that is what you heard?

    Hi Billy,

I have one more scheduled class tomorrow at the BGE store, not sure what will happen after that there, but I will be doing classes all over the southeast so you might even see me in your neck of the woods of NC.

    Thanks Jeff,

You're definitely one of the good guys out there. When the classes take off can I hire you as my food safety consultant? Huge smiles to you my friend.
