When giving my egg its annual spring cleaning I noticed a crack along the bottom of egg. Upon further cleaning discovered it went all the way up the side. This is like hairline. Do you suppose that was what screwing up my temps all winter? Would open vents to normal 225-250 and after several hours it would climb to 350 or so if not watched closely. Maybe opening wider with heat??
