Picked up some spares on sale at our local market, have been craving them. Smeared with mustard and rubbed with a homemade rub that I made awhile ago. Not sure what all was in it!
On the egg at 250. Broke my platesetter, again, so used the BGE pizza stone and spacers in between that and the drip pan. Also had a bucket of Hadley dates, so stuffed a few with cream cheese, wrapped them in bacon and sprinkled with Raging River and threw them on.
A beautiful 80 degree day for egging.
Dates are done, so good, like candy.
Ribbs getting jiggy, sauced with SBR's Sweet & Spicy. The ribs closest were foiled for an hour, the fiance prefers fall off the bone.
Plated with mustard/vinegar based potato salad and green salad. Not sure what I was thinking not slicing the ribs, but they was dang good!

Looks really good, just debating what to cook today myself.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Nice job on the ribs Teresa! Putting a slab on tomorrow and looking forward to them.Molly

Looks good, waiting for ours to come off the cooker as I type.

Never tried grilling dates. Might have to test that sometime.

Enjoy them Molly! Still haven't gotten to the P.O. with your grapefruits, but I will.

I'm sure they will be great.

They sweeten up even more, so good. Served them at a fest last year and they were a real hit.
