It looks like the day will be as good as the cook today.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I'll bring a cold, crisp, hand crafted in small batches, Wisconsin golden lager to the party- perfect accompaniment to your delicious Louisiana cookin. (no watery fizz diet beer allowed)

Again I say....oh baby!! Frank, are those hot dogs gonna take a bath in the boil, or are those for the kiddies?
-
The hot dogs will go in during the soak after I shut down the boil. some folks boil them with the bugs but they fall apart and they are already cooked anyways. Tossing them in for the soak lets them pick up some seasoning. Sausage works well at that point as well.

What time is "bug" time?
-
Bugs will be served at 6 - come on down
-
Only if you send the jet. I think it is too far to walk.

I'd heard the mudbug season was just getting started. I'm headed to LA Monday and can't wait to get some bugs. Mike

There is going to be some happy people when that boil gets done. We don't get bugs around here but I have enjoyed them during my time in the South. How much are they now?Dave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney

Not sure how much they are in Louisiana - these were 2.99/lb trucked to Corpus Christi.
My niece had 200# flown out to San Francisco a few years ago for a fund raiser. She used this guy http://www.lacrawfish.com/ and was completely satisfied. -
Holy moly, you're guests are in for a great meal!
