My wife doesn't like them either . . . all the more for me!
-
And your wife is like mine, just plain silly :laugh:I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Looks super! When the coast is clear....make the run for it! Nice!

Are they human? Who doesn't like chicken wings? You are one lucky man! Wish I had the option of having more chicken wings."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Lovin it, those look delicious. But were you able to share them with the hooters girls? They don't use a green egg at hooters. Imagine how much better their wings would be then. They'd be as awesome as the ones in these pictures. :P

Got to love them wings. :P You did good and your wife missed out. Bless her heart.

Mine either, but when the cats away, the mice will play LOL, good lookin' wings Scott!!

Being from Buffalo, NY, I don't understand where this thing about cooking the whole wing in one piece came from. The Anchor Bar and everyone around here, cuts them into pieces. Remove the tips and cut the sections into individual pieces. They lay flatter and cook more evenly. Guess it's to each his or her own. Still, some good looking eating. Way to go.

Hey that all looks great. I haven't done tators like that before. What did you season with and how long to cook?
-
Nuynai,
Can you post a photo of wing's you've done in the past, cooked your style?
I'd love to have a peek!
I grew up 2 hours East of Buffalo, so I'm in the dark as far as that method... -
When is dinner - Taters/Wings & Brew. Whats not to like?
-
Nuynai,
I like my wings crispy and I have found that cooking them whole is one of the tricks for that. The skin stays stretched over the bones if it is uncut and that helps with the crispyness
I have cooked plenty of them cut up and still do so for a large party because you can get so many more on the grid, but whole is my preference. -
No sharing, even my daughters wouldn't touch them.Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.

I used a rub from our local dealer "Thompson's own". Cookded for about an hour and half over a raised grill with the potatos below the wings the last hour. Before the last 1/2 hour I mixed them in a bowl of sauce and some Tobasco.Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.

I tried something new. I dumped Lipton Onion soup mix over them and grilled at 350 dome for an hour.Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.

Sounds good i want to try it.

To be honest, I didn't even think about it until I put them on the grill and realized they weren't seperated. Oh well, tasted great and left overs tonight!Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.
